Raymond Anthony Bortolussi Jr., 66, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at a local hospital.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. today at Berkemier Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be noon until service time today at the funeral home.
Raymond was born on July 7, 1947, in San Francisco, Calif., to Raymond Anthony Bortolussi Sr. and Mary (Ruggerio) Bortolussi. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1974. He was united in marriage to Lee Faith in January 2005.
Raymond enjoyed visiting with family and friends and his retirement.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Lee; mother, Mary Bortolussi of Bay Area, Calif.; children, Mario Bortolussi of Sioux Falls, S.D., Raymond Anthony Bortolussi III of Sioux Falls, Anthony Bortolussi and Jaclyn Longturky of Lower Brule, S.D.; stepdaughter, Jennie Kacena of Sioux City; grandchildren, Katelyn Bortolussi, Angel Bortolussi, and Gage Grant, all of his grandchildren in Sioux City called him "Papa Ray"; god child, Audrey Faith Honomichl; aunt, Anita (Leo) Banada of Bay Area; mother-in-law, Audrey Faith of Wagner, S.D.; and sister-in-law, Anna Faith of Sioux City.
He is preceded in death by his father; and brothers, Joseph and Edmond Bortolussi
