Rebecca "Becky" Jean Clark, 56, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, at a local hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Morningside Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Roger Graf officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Anthon, Iowa. Visitation will be 3:30 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel.
Becky was born Nov. 22, 1951, in Sioux City, to Dean and Shirley (Rupp) Clark. She grew up and attended Sioux City schools, graduating from Sioux City East in 1970. She later attended Wayne State College. Becky was employed with Vantus Bank (formerly First Federal) in Sioux City for 35 years.
She was a member of Morningside Presbyterian Church and was a volunteer at McKinley Elementary School as a teacher's aide.
Survivors include her father, Dean Clark; a brother, Craig and Toni Clark of Camdenton, Mo.; a niece, Erin and Michael Boomsma of Sunrise Beach, Mo.; a nephew, Brody Clark of Osage Beach, Mo.; an aunt and uncle, Gene and Shirley Rupp of Sioux City; and cousins, Lori and Joel Steenhoven of Sioux City and their children, Lindsay and Ben, and Kim and Tom Donahue of Sioux City and their children, Ryan and Riley.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Clark, in 1985.
