Regina Rae Kane, 68, of Weslaco, Texas, formerly of Sioux City, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015, in Weslaco.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, with Chaplain Neil Peck officiating. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be noon until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Regina was born on June 18, 1947, in Nebraska. She then served in the U.S. Air Force. She graduated from Western Iowa Tech Community College. Regina worked as an administrative assistant as well as being a homemaker.
She was united in marriage to Alexander Kane on Aug. 27, 1989.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Alex, Weslaco; daughters, Kimberly (Shane) Strom of Sioux City, Cindy (Larry) Wilde of Sioux City, and Bobbi Parker of Lafayette, La.; stepson, Doug Kane of Sioux Falls, S.D.; grandchildren, Jacob Wilde, Jesse Wilde, Aleasha Wilde, Mia Parker, Austin Strom, Samantha Kane, Amber Kane, and Keith Kane; and a great-grandchild, Naomi Kane.
She is preceded in death by her stepson, Tony Kane; and granddaughter, Jordan Legg.
