SIOUX CITY -- Robert Charles Kauspedas, 45, of Minneapolis, formerly of Sioux City, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, at his residence.

Robert was born March 4, 1965, in Sioux City, the son of Anthony and Lois (Magee) Kauspedas. He grew up in Sioux City and graduated from East High School in 1983. He continued his education at Briar Cliff University from 1983 to 1985, then at Drake University from 1985 to 1987, where he excelled at academics. He lived in Minneapolis, St. Louis, Mo., and San Francisco. He returned to Minneapolis in 1994, where he worked for American Express.
He enjoyed politics and was an avid reader. He was also interested in music and the arts.
Survivors include three brothers, Keith and Carol Kauspedas of Colorado Springs, Colo., Bruce and Rhonda Kauspedas of Phoenix, Ariz., and Craig and Robin Kauspedas of Chesterfield, Mo.; nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
