Sioux City - Roberta H. Oehlerking, 73, of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at her residence.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Steve Benson officiating.
Roberta was born on June 22, 1940, in Walthill, Neb., to Luther and Helen (Morian) Edgington. She attended school in Leeds.
Roberta married Charles Oehlerking on March 19, 1955. They made their home in Sioux City. Charles died on Feb. 11, 2013.
Roberta was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and her friends in Sioux City and Omaha.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Debbie (Robert) Anderson of Lawton, Iowa, Diane Feste of Lawton, Darlowe (Paula) Oehlerking, Dale (Michelle) Oehlerking, and Dean (Jill) Oehlerking, all of Sioux City; 12 grandchildren, Matt (Amy) Anderson of Sioux City, Skye (Mark) Nicolls of Lawton, Lindy (Phil) Reinking of Sioux City, David Feste of Lawton, Josh Feste and Ashley Miller of Sioux City, Sonya Oehlerking and Matt Howard of Sioux City, Daniel Oehlerking of Sioux City, Nathan Oehlerking of Sioux City, Maggie Oehlerking of Sioux City, McKenna Oehlerking of Sioux City, Kaylee Oehlerking of Sioux City, and Jesse Oehlerking of Sioux City; nine great-grandchildren, Wyatt Anderson, Morgan Nicolls, Mason Nicolls, Trenton Nicolls, Zoe Anderson, Miles Anderson, Hayden Feste, Cohen Howard and Claire Howard; and a sister, Donna (Wilber) Lieber of Sioux City.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; son-in-law, Doug Feste; sister, Arlene Edgington; and two brothers, Ben and Don Edgington.
