Robin J. Gurnsey

Robin J. Gurnsey, 70, passed away on March 1, 2024.

A private graveside service will take place at 1 PM on Tuesday, March 12th at Memorial Park.

Robin Jenelle Gurnsey was born on May 18, 1953, in Sioux City to parents Ed and Cleo (Richl) Gurnsey. Due to a serious early childhood disease and a life-threatening car accident, Robin was only able to attend area special needs schools. Despite the challenges life often presented her, she always tried to be an independent spirit along with being a friendly, happy person who loved those times she was around her extended family as well as her pet cats.

Robin especially appreciated the wonderful care she received in her later years while living at Accura Healthcare. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cleo Brehm; step father, Jack Brehm; and her beloved grandmother, Frances Taggs. Robin is survived by one centenarian aunt and numerous cousins.
