Sioux City - Roger D. Millage, 61, of Sioux City passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at his residence.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Larkin Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
Roger was born on Nov. 25, 1952, in Sioux City, to Louis and Dorothy (Allard) Millage. He served in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1973. He previously worked at Four Seasons Health Club and at the time of his death was employed at Heyl Transportation.
In his younger years, he enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles as well as carpentry work. Roger was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and Dodgers fan. Roger liked spending time with his many friends.
Those left to honor his memory include his father, Louis Millage of Sioux City; brothers, Doug (Teresa) Millage of Dakota Dunes, Stan (Roxy) Millage of Dakota Dunes, and Mark Millage of Hawarden, Iowa; sons, Christopher Millage of Sioux City, and Michael Millage of San Diego, Calif.; aunts, and uncles; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother; infant son, Derek Lee Millage; and grandparents, Rudolph and Laura Allard, and Elmer and Mabel Millage.
