Ronald Hauser

Ronald Kingston Hauser, 60, of Iowa City, formerly of Sioux City, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014 in Iowa City.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. today at Riverside United Methodist Church in Sioux City . Rev. Kristine Frank will officiate. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Berkemier Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
Ronald was born on January 9, 1954 in Sioux City to Alverin and Patricia (Boni) Hauser. He was a lifelong resident of Sioux City and a member of Riverside United Methodist Church . He was a Tech Sgt. with the 185th Air Guard. Ronald worked at IBP and Tyson for 38 years.
He was united in marriage to Priscilla Wanjiku on June 20, 2012 in Sioux City .
Ronald was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan who loved animals, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Priscilla of Sioux City; son, Kalo Kingston (Jess Blake) Hauser of Sioux City; daughter, Amanda (Dinnie) Desmond of Sioux City; grandchildren, Ryan, Tierra, Dawson, and Damion Hauser, Sondra and Anthony Alverez, Jeremy and Breanna Desmond; siblings, Mary Anne (Buster) Towns of Sioux City, Danny (Debbie) Hauser of Sioux City, Bonnie (Garry) Comstock of Sioux City, Ruben (Denise) Hauser of McCook Lake, S.D., and Patsy (Gary) Anderson of Sergeant Bluff; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
