SIOUX CITY -- Rosie Marie Potter-Husk-Hair, 89, of Sioux City died May 20, 2011, at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jim Wilson of Glendale Baptist Church officiating. Burial of the cremated remains will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to

Mrs. Hair was born Dec. 28, 1921, in Sioux City, the daughter of Harry and Edna Emery. She attended Sioux City Schools. She was a homemaker and housewife.
She was a longtime member of Glendale Baptist Church and the ladies aid society of the church. She was also a volunteer on election day at the local voting precincts.
Rosie is survived by one son and his wife, Robert and Carolyn Potter of Stewartsville, Mo.; a daughter-in-law, Linda Potter of Sioux City; and seven grandchildren.
