Sadie Margaret Weber (Gunnerson)

Sadie Margaret Weber, 96, of Sioux City died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at a Sioux City nursing home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Craig Bock of St. Luke's Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
Sadie was born Nov. 10, 1911, in Gowrie, Iowa, the daughter of Andrew and Sophie (Peterson) Gunnerson. She lived in Gowrie and Luton, Iowa, and moved to Sioux City around 1940. She worked as a mail carrier in Luton before moving to Sioux City.
In November 1940, she married Lawrence Weber in Gowrie. He died in 1963.
She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and she loved flowers and dogs.
She is survived by her sister-in-law and her husband, Mildred and Carroll Reyman of Loomis, Calif.; and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her siblings, Lillian, Mildred, Ray, Tony and an infant sister.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Siouxland.
