Sandra S. Lehmberg, 71, of Sioux City died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at a Sioux City care center.
The family will honor her life with food and fellowship at an informal gathering at 2 p.m. Saturday at 4014 Floyd Blvd., the old Leeds Firehouse. Arrangements were under the direction of Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel. Condolences may be sent online to www.christysmith.com .
Sandra was born March 24, 1937, in Ogden, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur and Emma (Barkley) Sauvain. She was a homemaker and worked for the Sioux City Symphony.
She was an avid gardener and history buff.
Survivors include her mother, Emma Sauvain of Lincoln, Neb.; a son, William Duff Lehmberg of Sioux City; and a sister, Sonja Schneider of Lincoln, Neb.
