SIOUX CITY -- Sarah Beth Freeman, 33, and her infant daughter, Karsen Lynn Freeman, of Sioux City died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, in Sioux City.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Morningside Lutheran Church, with Pastor Kevin Lee officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, 1801 Morningside Ave.
Sarah was born March 6, 1975, the daughter of Keith and Karen (Griffin) Newman. She attended Longfellow School, East Middle and graduated from East High School in 1993. On May 12, 2007, she married Anthony "Tony" Freeman in Sioux City.
Sarah enjoyed watching TV, playing board games and playing cards. She enjoyed being with people; what she loved most was spending time with her daughter and their dog.
She is survived by her husband, Tony; a daughter, Jaci Turner at home; her parents, Keith and Karen Newman of Sioux City; a sister and her husband, Lisa and DeWayne Haglund of Sergeant Bluff; four nieces and a nephew, Ashley, Jodi, Kelsie, Michael and Karlie; and her mother-in-law, Carol Freeman of Sioux City.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael; and her grandparents, Floyd and Gladys Griffin and Hazel and Clayton Freeman.
Pallbearers will be Butch Jaqua, Chuck Bean, Marla Rogers, Ryan Rogers, Pat Bueltel and Pat Freeman.
