SIOUX CITY -- Shane Patrick Alan Brainerd, infant son of Shane A. Brainerd and Jennifer M. Schmidt of Sioux City died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, at a Sioux City hospital.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery, with Karl Luther, friend of the family, officiating. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Monday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes. Condolences may be sent online to www.christysmith.com .
Shane was born on Oct. 8, 2008, in Sioux City.
Survivors include his parents, Shane and Jennifer of Sioux City; five brothers and sisters, Nick Kamm, Sarah Schmidt-Sands, Jessica "Barty" Schmidt, Christopher Schmidt and Kayla Schmidt; maternal grandparents, Bob and Peg Kamm; paternal grandparents, Denny and Pam Brainerd; and many extended family members.
