Sharon K. Goodwin, 73, of Sioux City died Friday, April 8, 2016, at Touchstone Living Center in Sioux City.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes, with the Rev. Kent Dunwoody officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Sharon was born on April 1, 1943, in Sioux City. Her parents were T.C. "Jack" and Carol (Dunn) Terrill. She graduated from Sioux City Public Schools, continuing her education at Morningside College. Sharon lived most of her life in Sioux City except for a short time in the early 1980s when she lived in Des Moines. Sharon worked as a nurse's aide in hospitals and as a home health care nurse.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and the Siouxland Quilters Guild. She enjoyed her bird, Miss Piggy, western music, western movies, and coloring in her books.
Sharon is survived by her bird, Miss Piggy; friends, Signe (Cliff) Millard of Sioux City; and attorney and friend, Tomme Fent of Portland, Ore.
