Sharon Ann Schiefen (Grinde)

April 2, 1943 — September 15, 2007

Sharon Ann Schiefen, 64, of Kerrville, Texas, formerly of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, at her residence.

Services were held Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville, with Monsignor Mike Boulette officiating. Arrangements in Texas were under the direction of Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements in Sioux City are under the direction of Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel.

Sharon was born April 2, 1943, in Black River Falls, Wis., to Ernest and Pearl Grinde.

On Dec. 16, 1977, she married Lowell H. Schiefen in Sioux City. Sharon was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church, where she was involved in the Acts Society. She was a charter member and queen mother of the Red Hats Society in Take It Easy Resort. Her family will remember her as the best mom and wife ever at everything.

Survivors include her husband, Lowell Schiefen of Kerrville; daughters, Kathy, Gail and Lisa; sons, Jeff and Mike Camarigg, Dan and Dennis; a brother, James Grinde and wife, Pat; and grandchildren, Allyssa, Mindie, Vanessa, Chase, Skyler, Dustin, Shaun, Shane and Kai Tae.

Pallbearers were Mike Camarigg, Jim Grinde, Rich Deeming, Mark Ohman, Pat Noreen and Jim Morgan. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene McNaughton, Steve Camarigg and Gene Kuhl.
