Sioux City - Teresa Ann Lussier, 48, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014, at her residence.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Larkin Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes, on Outer Drive. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Teresa was born on Dec. 16, 1965, in Sioux City, to William and JoAnn (Schmidt) Lussier. She graduated from North High School in 1984. Teresa was employed at Indian Hills Care Center for 10 years. She also worked as a nanny, housekeeper, and at a day care.
Teresa enjoyed being on Facebook and catching up with friends. She liked to sit outside and visit with neighbors and people that walked by; she was a social person who made friends with everyone. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Teresa loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and would frequently babysit them.
Those left to honor her memory include her parents, William and JoAnn Lussier of Sioux City; siblings, Brenda (Bryan) McCuddin of Onalaska, Wis., Debbie Dicks of Sioux City, Kevin Lussier of Sahuarita, Ariz., and Shari Lussier of Sioux City; nine nieces and nephews; several grandnieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, and cousins, including special cousin, Nancy Nelson of Sergeant Bluff; many close friends; and special friend, David Mazurik.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents; niece, Paula Dicks; and cousins, Ron and Jessica.
