MOVILLE, Iowa -- Terry Lee Rundall, 51, of Moville died Monday, May 11, 2009, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Moville United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Westfork Township Cemetery, Climbing Hill, Iowa. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a Masonic service at 7 p.m., at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of McCulloch Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home in Moville.
Terry was born Oct. 2, 1957, in Sioux City, the son of Wallace and Shirley (Morey) Rundall Jr. He grew up in Moville and graduated from Woodbury Central High School in 1975. He joined the U.S. Navy after graduation.
While serving at Midway Island, he met Lilly Parinas, who was also stationed there. They were married on Aug. 14, 1978, in Dan Diego, Calif. After their honorable discharges, they made their home near Moville. He worked at IBP for a short time before concentrating on farming.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Climbing Hill, Iowa. He was also a very active member of the Abu Bekr Shriners. He belonged to Landmark Lodge 103 and was a past Master of Trial Lodge 532 in Moville. He also was a member of the Royal Order of Jesters and was part of the Rat Patrol among other units. He enjoyed going on trips with his friends to Costa Rica. He was liked by everyone.
Survivors include his wife, Lilly Rundall of Moville; a son, John Rundall and Jessie Liebenguth of Ames, Iowa; a daughter, Sarah Rundall and her fiance, Alvin McDonnell of Phoenix, Ariz.; his mother, Shirley Rundall of Moville; a brother, Mike Rundall of Moville; a sister, Renee and Vince Miller of Omaha; a niece and nephew, Shelby and Peyton Miller; other relatives; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Rundall.
