Thomas J Dunlop III, 74 of Sioux City, Iowa died on Friday, September 2, 2022, in Sioux City, Iowa.
A Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Friday at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel located at 1801 Morningside Ave. Sioux City, Iowa 51106 with the Pastor Steve Jewett officiating. Interment will be in Graceland Park Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel, 1801 Morningside Ave., Sioux City, Iowa.

Tom was born June 18, 1948, in Rochester, New York to Thomas and Marion McCracken Dunlop. He grew up in New York and graduated from Port Washington High School on Long Island. He was a graduate of Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, IA. He started his career with IBP now Tyson Foods in 1982 at Storm Lake and later moved to Council Bluffs, IA and Emporia, KS before coming to the Dakota City, NE plant working in the Human Resources department. He retired in 2012.
He married Bonnie Wittmaack on March 1, 1995. The couple made their home in Sioux City. Tom was a sports fanatic, but his favorite sports were college football and horse racing.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Bonnie of Sioux City, 4 children; Jennifer and her husband Daniel Patrick Lynch, Thomas Dunlop IV of Luverne, MN, Jesse and her husband Erik Schroeter of Westfield, IA and Thad Jeckell of Solvang, CA eight grandchildren; Thomas V and his wife Tiara Marie, Grace, Kylie, Anne, Alexa, Tristin, Carter and Keira, one great grandson Thomas VI, three sisters; Marion Daniel, Judy Dunlop and Alice Dunlop, and his constant companion his golden retriever Beth.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his dog Britt.
