Thomas Jefferson Eagan

Thomas “TJ” Eagan died peacefully at his home surrounded by family on September 20, 2024, at the age of 45.

In 2011, TJ met and fell in love with Lindsay, and they were married a year later at Okoboji, IA. TJ and Lindsay had two beautiful children: Hunter and Madison, whose birth profoundly impacted TJ’s life. He took immense pride in ensuring a nurturing environment by providing unconditional love and stability. TJ was hard-working and dedicated. His professional endeavors as a diligent electrician led to the establishment of Electrical Innovations, a joint venture with his brother-in-law, John Ireland.

 As a shining example of kindness and generosity, he left a lasting mark on every life he touched. We find strength in knowing that TJ’s remarkable legacy continues to flourish through the wisdom he instilled, the love he freely gave, and the cherished memories we will forever hold.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Long Horn Event Space on Saturday November 9, 2024. The celebration will be from 3-7pm. Drop in anytime to share an evening of community, comfort food and fond memories. Long Horn is located in the back of Cedar Hills restaurant at 102 W. 3rd St Ponca, NE. Let’s come together to celebrate his life with warmth and laughter, wearing comfortable clothes that TJ would have appreciated. Friends are encouraged to bring cherished memories to contribute to the memory box. 

Memorial donations will be given in his memory to Hope Lodge in Omaha, Nebraska and Memories for Kids. These two organizations played a huge role in our lives as TJ went through chemotherapy, providing a place to stay in Omaha and giving the children a lasting memory.
