Timothy Jon Neuroth

Sioux City, IA – Timothy J. Neuroth, 75, died Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at a local nursing home.
A memorial service will be 1:00 pm Friday, July 15, 2022, at Christy-Smith Funeral Homes, Morningside Chapel, 1801 Morningside Ave., with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.christysmith.com .
Timothy Jon Neuroth, the son of Clifford and Margaretta (Jensen) Neuroth was born January 17, 1946, in Akron, IA. He graduated from Bishop Heelan High School in 1964. Timothy enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam Conflict. He was honorably discharged after nearly ten years of service.
On January 20, 1965, Timothy was united in marriage with Peggy Murray in Sioux City. He was employed in a number of positions in and around the Sioux City area. Peggy died in 2016.
Timothy was a member of Mater Dei Parish-Immaculate Conception Church and the church Men’s Club.
Timothy is survived by his children, Brian Neuroth, Kimberly Neuroth, and Mark Neuroth; three grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
