Joretta K. "Tommie" Perrin, 80, of Sioux City passed away on Aug. 30, 2015, at her home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Schoop of St. John's Lutheran Church in Climbing Hill, Iowa, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Tommie was born on June 21, 1935, in Elk Point, S.D., to Lloyd and Laura (Michel) Wheelock. Tommie graduated from Central High School in 1953.
She married Claude W. Perrin Jr. on Aug. 27, 1955. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1994. Tommie was an active lady who enjoyed visiting with friends, traveling, and boating on the river. She was a devoted mother who always had time to help others.
Survivors include her daughters, Denise (Larry) Gleiser of Sioux City, and Julie (Tim) Willhite of Glendale, Ariz.; grandchildren, Andrea and Michael Gleiser, Ryan and Jason Natoli, and Timmy Willhite III; and special friend, Hank Paulsen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son Scott Perrin; and grandaughter, Amber Gleiser.
