Venesha Rae Golden, 37, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at her residence.
Services will be 11 a.m. today at Berkemier Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes . Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Venesha was born on Aug. 27, 1976, in Sioux City . She worked at Palmer Candy Company for several years.
She cherished family and friends, but most of all her three children. Venesha was artistic and liked to draw. She enjoyed music and body art and was very into self-expression.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Keith Richard Gabel, Faith Gail Taylor, and Evan Alexander Rogers, all of Sioux City; mother and stepfather, Gail (McFarland) and Lorne Lane of Sioux City; father, Kevin ( Kelly ) Golden of Sioux City; grandmother, Dorothy Lane of Sioux City; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Vernon and June McFarland, and Paul and Eileen Golden; an uncle, Timothy McFarland; and an aunt, Daisy McFarland.
