Vicki L. Johnson

Vicki Lynn Johnson, 61, of Sioux City, died Thursday, June 4, 2015, at her home.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Merrill Muller officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, with family present 6 to 8 p.m., at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes.
Vicki was born May 3, 1954, in Sioux City. She attended school and graduated from East High in 1972. Vicki continued her education at Western Iowa Tech Community College in 1972 and 1973, graduating as a medical transcriptionist.
She married Bruce Johnson on Aug. 27, 1977. They made their home in Sioux City.
Vicki worked at Mercy Medical Center for 35 years, retiring in 2011.
Vicki enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and cooking.
Survivors include her husband, Bruce Johnson of Sioux City; and a half-brother, Larry D'Abate of Johnston, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather.
