Vivian C. Ouellette, 87, of Sioux City peacefully passed into the arms of God on Saturday, May 2, 2015.
Graveside memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Vivian was born in Sioux City and graduated from Central High School. She worked at Swift packing house for many years and retired from there.
She is survived by her daughter and caregiver, Susan (Lyle) Parker; her daughter, Julie (Mike) Dallmeyer; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sisters, Jackie Adams, Janice Shook and Pattie Hughes; and her brother, Gary (Connie) Johnson.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Bob (Boo Boo) Ouellette; her son, Ron Mead; a daughter, Barb Hansen; and her parents, Marguerite and Frank Johnson.
Following the graveside services, friends are invited to join the family for a luncheon at the Christy-Smith Resource Center.
