MOVILLE, Iowa -- William Eugene "Bill" Redding, 60, of Moville died Friday, April 15, 2011, at a Sioux City hospital.
Graveside services were held in Arlington Township Cemetery, Moville, with military rites conducted by the U.S. Army. Arrangements were under the direction of McCulloch Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home in Moville. Condolences may be sent online to

Bill was born April 19, 1950, in Burnside, Ill., the son of Robert and Maxine (Pruett) Redding. He attended school in Kahoka, Mo. Bill entered the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam.
He married Rae Joann Rath on April 19, 1974, in Elk Point, S.D. They made their home in Moville. Bill worked for Erving F. Jensen Construction in Colorado for 16 years and was currently working as a fabricator for Wilson Trailer Company.
He was very family oriented and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and working with his hands.
Survivors include his wife, Rae Redding of Moville; a son, Rick Rice of Sioux City; a daughter, Tami Manker of Sioux City; three granddaughters, Courtney Manker of Sioux City, Brittney and Tran Keels of Houston, Texas, and Hanna Manker of Moville; five great-grandchildren; five brothers; five sisters; a brother-in-law, Randy and Linda Rath of Sioux City; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Maxine Redding; and a brother.
