William "Bill" Lewon, 76, of Bronson passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Services will be 9 a.m. Saturday at Elliott Creek Presbyterian Church in Bronson. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home in Sioux City.
William was born on Sept. 23, 1936, in Coleridge, Neb., to LeRoy and Hazel (Cisney) Lewon. He was united in marriage to Ava Smith on Dec. 9, 1956, in Bronson. He was a welder and steamfitter for many years.
He enjoyed the outdoors and farming.
Those left to honor his memory include his loving wife, Ava; children, Julie (Jim) Lura of Austin, Minn., Ron (Karen) Lewon of Bronson, and Gary Lewon of Bronson; five grandchildren; and brothers and sisters.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
