SIOUX CITY -- Woodrow Paul "Woody" Klouda, 66, of Sioux City died Sunday, May 6, 2012, at his home.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Morningside Bible Church. The Rev. Terry Embke will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be noon until service time Wednesday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
Woody was born on Feb. 20, 1946, in Sioux City, the son of Louis and Dorothy Marie (Redenius) Klouda. He was raised in Sioux City until the family moved to California in 1961. He graduated from California High School in Whittier, Calif. He attended Seregious Junior College in California, and returned to Sioux City in 1972.
He attended Western Iowa Tech Community College and took courses in electronics and communication. He worked at Sioux City Milk Producers, and Swift & Co. He also worked on pinball machines.
He loved working with the computer and doing videos. He did wedding videos, beauty pageants, and many professional videos. He was a member of the Morningside Bible Church. He enjoyed working in his yard and growing flowers
He is survived by his brother and sisters, Linda K. Kellogg of Jackson, Minn., Debbie and Tom Collins of Cushing, Iowa, Cindy Reed of Sioux City, and Mark Anthony Klouda and Rhonda Wishmier of Sioux City; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
